The Skills Session of the Heartsaver Basic Adult & Pediatric First Aid CPR AED-BL course is instructor-led and can be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting involving any age.
You will learn the knowledge and skills that may help save a life. The skills learned in this course will help you recognize cardiac arrest, get emergency care on the way quickly, and help the person until more advanced care arrives to take over. The Heartsaver blended course offers a consistent experience for the learner utilizing enhanced and realistic scenarios while providing course and content flexibility. The interactive instructor-led skills session help students better retain information.
The online portion (Part 1) of the AHA Heartsaver course videos generally takes between 2 and 3 hours depending on your knowledge level. You may view the videos in one sitting, or break it up into several sessions depending on individual needs. A Certficate of Completion is generated and emailed to us before attending an in-person hands-on Skills Sessions (Part 2) with an AHA Instructor.
1. Make registration payment and the online eLearning Link and payment receipt will be emailed to you.
2. Watch the online course, download the Certficate of Completion, and email to us before class.
3. Come to one of our training locations to complete the hands-on skills practice and test session and recieve your ecard within 24-36 hours.
