The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Blended (BL) the course is designed for anyone involved in childcare who have a duty to respond to illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Including: childcare workers, teachers, camp counselors, etc.

You will learn the knowledge and skills that may help save a life. The skills learned in this course will help prepare participants to respond to illnesses and injuiries in a child or infant until emergency medical services providers arrive.  Topics include first aid basics including medical, injury, poison, and environmental emergencies, preventing illnesses and injuries and controlling bleeding & bandaging. The course offers enhanced and realistic scenarios while providing course and content flexibility.  The interactive instructor-led skills session help students better retain information.

The online portion (Part 1) of the Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED BL course  can be completed in one sitting, or break it up into several sessions depending on individual needs. Following the self-directed online portion, you will take a hands-on skills sessions in person with an AHA Instructor.

1. Once the payment is made, the online course is sent to you via email.

2. After you complete the online course a completion certificate is issued to you online. You then send the completion certificate to us via email. 

3. Upon our receipt of your completion certificate, you come to our office for the hands-on training part of the course.  

4. After you complete the hands-on training you will receive your American Heart Heartsaver ecard via email within 24-36 hours.

The course is $100.00. If payment is not made within 24 hours of registering your name may be removed from that course date and time. Payment information and confirmation will be emailed to you automatically when you register. Please check your Junk Mail or SPAM Folder if you do not see your class confirmation.

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose.
